Second Start Program

The H.A.R.P. office administers the Second Start Program, also known as the Bridge House or Transitional Housing Program. Second Start is a transitional housing program that combines supportive services and intensive case management to assist homeless families in removing the barriers that cause them to be without a home so that they may become self-sufficient. The Second Start Program also provides long=term (1 to 2 years) housing for homeless families with children, as well as for victims of domestic violence.

Families meeting the eligibility criteria are welcomed into the program and encouraged and motivated to work on their goal plans. Intensive case management services are provided to all participants of this rewarding program. For additional information, call Enid Rivera or Ana Sanchez at 717-273-9328.
